Gerard Moreno scores his first hat-trick of the season after victory in Andalusia

Following a International Break Villarreal’s run was extended after a Moreno hat-trick beat off Granada 3-0

Villarreal secured their victory in the 60th minute. Moreno played a beautiful through ball through to Carlos Bacca. The Columbian was through on goal only to be brought down by Rui Silva in the penalty area. Gerard Moreno stepped up to earn his first hat-trick of La Liga 20/21 making it 3-0.

Granada were awarded a consolation goal opportunity in the 80th Minute. Capoue who had a flawless game up until this point brought down a Granada attacker. Veteran striker Molina stepped up to take the penalty only to sky the ball over the crossbar.

Villarreal ended the match with the return of Alberto Moreno who played his first game of the season. It was a well deserved victory for the Yellow Submarine.
