Hello all, just want to let you know Craig Hanson from Sporticos in the UK had me as his guest on his podcast recently, and it’s now available. Go to the Sporticos website and there are links to it, and as Craig said, please do leave him a review if you listen to it.
We recorded this last Tuesday morning, when the Emery to Newcastle rumors were in full swing, so I think the fact we correctly predicted the outcome of that story was pretty good.
At the end, Craig asked me some trivia questions (I flubbed an easy one, I gotta admit) so try and see if you did better than I did!
Meanwhile, we go into another international break, which gives our players not selected for their international teams time to recover (especially after Getafe’s thuggery); as for those on international duty, hope you play well, but come back safe and ready to don yellow!
With Celta on Nov 20, followed by Man United, Barcelona, Sevilla, Atalanta, Rayo and La Real all in the next month, this period of time will define our season, both in the league and in Europe.
We didn’t get to talk about it on the podcast, but Villarreal B continue in first place, though they’ve lost their last two matches and have a couple of injuries to contend with (Lozano and Nicholas Jackson), while the Villarreal Women are struggling in the Primera and are currently joint bottom on 4 points after 9 matches. With home matches against Granadilla Tenerife on Wednesday and Sevilla on Saturday, picking up some points is critical. Scoring would be good—we have only found the net twice in eight matches.
Endavant!
