I hate repeating this over and over again, but at some point here we need wins. Cadiz is far less talented than we are, and we should get all three points in our battle at home with the ‘other’ yellow submarine. We’re unbeaten in our last four matches against them, but three of those have been draws and that simply will not do for us right now. We’ve never lost to them at home, and have won 5/6 of the matches in La Ceramica. Cadiz is in the relegation zone, and I would look down on that except we are closer to them in points than we are to Athletic Club sitting on the edge of the European places. We’re in a period now that will determine what exactly what we are doing this season. Are we charging towards European places or are we going to find ourselves in a relegation fight?

I thought that Paco not getting into the last match was pretty poor on Unai Emery’s part, but that sentiment is meaningless if he doesn’t grasp his opportunity now. Iborra/Man/Parejo forms a pretty impossible to press midfield, but it’s also one that has slow buildup written all over it. If Cadiz wants to sit deep, we could have another frustrating day in chance creation despite our wings both being excellent players. I, for one, am a bit surprised that Aurier isn’t starting this match, but I had seen some of you on Twitter saying you wanted Mario to martial the backline in Albiol’s absence and here’s his chance to do that.
