All the intricacies and possibilities of which exact spot we finish in the league don’t really matter now. This is all about Santi and Bruno and getting to see them pull on the shirt one last time. The result doesn’t really affect Eibar, so we’ll probably be the more motivated team as we try to send the legends out in style. It’s a shame there are no fans to shake the stadium to its core cheering for them, but I am sure testimonials will happen once things get back toward normal.

No surprise at all, the two outgoing legends are starting. Andres Fernandez in goal is interesting. I think we’re going to be running a 433 here with Santi as a sort of ‘winger’, which is tactically meh but it really doesn’t matter. Iborra and Anguissa will provide midfield stability and I expect a lot of interchange over on the left between Santi and Bruno, who has the armband on one last time.
I’m curious to see if the two old guys last the full 90. Were there fans in the stands, I might expect a late sub for both to give them a standing ovation but as is maybe he just gives them as many minutes as possible? It’ll be interesting to see. I expect us to have most of the ball here, Pena/Chukwueze is a flank combination I like and I look forward to seeing them work. Overall, a solid lineup.

Eibar comes out in a flat 442. Frankly, there’s no combination of players they have that can match our first choice talent. We should win this match.
