Pretty simple, get a result, and we have nothing to stress about in the season finally. Lose and... well, Sunday will be interesting.
It will be interesting to see which side comes out more motivated. Both teams can seal their goal for the season today, but if things go poorly both have another chance against lower table opposition in just a few days. I don’t normally advocate negative football, but if there were ever a day to park the bus and grind out an ugly draw I might support it today.
It’s worth noting that, while finishing fifth, sixth, or seventh, all get us to Europa, but fifth place would earn us about 16m more than seventh, which by itself could be an extra player for next season.

Three fullbacks are the first thing that leap off the page. I guess one of them is a right midfielder? (Assuming 442)... more Samu as striker, Chakla at CB, Morlanes starting... I feel like Calleja is either ceding this match and focusing on Eibar or has completely overthought things and is setting us up for a bad time.

Hazard had all kinds of injuries this season, and Madrid have a big match with Manchester City in a couple weeks so I think he’s only starting because Zidane has five subs at his disposal. I don’t think he’ll go the full 90. I’m very surprised to see Rodrygo starting. Despite all the minute Modric just played he is starting, so I expect a fresh Fede Valverde at some point in the second half.
It will be tough, but I don’t think this is the most dangerous lineup they could have thrown at us.
