Alright, here we go. Lineups are posted, presumably all the pre-game testing and checking has happened, and it’s time for yet another La Liga match as these things seem to be flying at us at a million miles an hour.

I’m really not sure why he is insisting on Alberto so much. Frankly, I wouldn’t mind if he got a yellow so that Calleja would be forced to do something smart and play Quintilla against Valencia. I’m very interested to see how many minutes Santi gets, and I expect Zambo to play the full 90 since we have several days until our next game. We are really at the point where Paco owes us something special so I will be watching his match with interest.
Here is the #SevillaFC starting XI for tonight's match @Eng_Villarreal:

Kind of a weird lineup from Sevilla. No Ocampos, no Navas, no Reguilon or De Jong (all of whom started against Barca). Like us, though, they are a relatively deep team that will still have plenty of talent on the pitch. They say you gotta make hay while the sun is shining, and I’d expect some of these names off the bench in the second half so we need to jump on them early and get things done quickly so that any late adjustments are too little to overturn the result.
We haven’t played especially well for most of the last three matchdays, any excuses about rust are well and gone now. We’re at home, we’ve beaten this side once already this season. We need to take care of business and get three points.
