Villarreal Women A travelled to Granada for a match you could say it’s worth six points. After eight consecutive matches getting points, this loss puts you at a halt. Sanjuan (GK), Palo, Sheila, Aixa Salvador, Naiara, Salma, Celia, Bea Prades, Cristina Diaz, Sara Medina and Lara Mata started the match with Pau (GK), Marieta, Nazaret, Laura Royo, Jessi, Iris Dominguez and Clara waiting for an opportunity at the bench.
The first half was for Granada where they were more dominant and through it they got their goal. The defenders didn’t clear out the ball and Lauri Requena capitalized on that to put Granada ahead. The second half got a more uncontrolled and Villarreal started to dominate more without luck, having at least four good chances to tie the game from the boots of Salma and Cristina Diaz specially, but Granada also had one good occassion at the start of the second half and a one on one against the goalkeeper

With the win, and Levante C win against Levante C, Villarreal B is three points ahead the relegation spots. A sweet jornada as Valencia C and Murcia Féminas lost plus the win against Ciudad de Murcia which have given a bit of breather. Next jornada, Villarreal B will host Levante C at the Ciudad Deportiva
The Villarreal C also won their match against Femení Cabanyal by 2-1. Vera Vicent scored the first goal before the tie. At the second half, Claudia Baila put the definitive 2-1 at the scoreboard to keep the team at the promotion spots. With this, Claudia Baila has scored seven times for the C side while Vera Vicent did it four times. The top scorer is still Marta Ortells with ten goals

With the win, Villarreal C continue their good form at the top, but with La Eliana having a match postponed with Torre Levante due to be played this February 6. Next match is against Fenix Moncada at Moncada. Fenix are currently battling to avoid relegation and the first match between them was a 5-1 win for Villarreal so they shouldn’t have any problem with this.
On the cantera side, the cadete-infantil won 3-2 against CFF Maritim, max rival for the league title in this second phase. Next match is against San Lorenzo in what should be an easy match as they won the match against them by 1-7 during the first phase.
