Villarreal A hosted Pozoalbense at the Ciudad Deportiva on a difficult match where it was mandatory to get the three points to have a nicer break. Competition will resume on the weekend of February 23. Sanjuán (GK), Palo, Nazaret, Laura Royo, Aixa Salvador, Naiara, Celia, Bea Prades, Iris Domínguez, Cristina Díaz and Lara Mata (c) started the match with Pau (PS), Marieta, Colonques, Sheila Guijarro, Jessi, Sara Medina and Clara waiting for a chance to play.
The match didn’t start well as Pozoalbense scored with only three minutes underway in an action where Karla Riley surprised Sanjuán to put Pozoalbense at the front, one minute after Iris Domínguez had the first chance of the match with a shot over the bar. Villarreal main danger was coming from set-pieces during this half. So with all this, we get to the half time whistle with 0-1 in favor of Pozoalbense.
A controversial call was produced around the 60th minute when Aixa Salvador fell down in the penalty area and the referee decided not to call the penalty. Seven minutes after, Aixa Salvador got fouled inside the area and this time the referee made the call for the eleven meters, with Aixa herself putting the draw on the scoreboard. This improved the mood of Villarreal who started to get more dominant as the minutes were passing by. With only five minutes still to be played, Naiara got shown the second yellow and Villarreal had to play with ten players. Nevertheless, Sheila Guijarro appeared during injury time to put Villarreal ahead and securing the three points.

Santa Teresa, Funda Albacete and Granada won all their matches so the top didn’t change. Málaga lost 0-2 against Cáceres so Villarreal now has gotten a good grasp on the 4th position. Aixa Salvador scored her 9th goal of the season while Sheila Guijarro the 6th, continuing being the top scorer and second best for the team. Salma with five goals closes the top three of Villarreal. Next match will be again at home in two weeks against Córdoba CF, 8th at the table.
Villarreal B won their crucial match against Levante C with a 4-1. At half time, with goals of Teresa Ibañez (minute 21) and Vera Rico (minute 32) the match was already on the good track. Levante C got a goal at the six minutes after the break thanks to Andrea Torres, but was a happiness short lived as Marta Ortells scored at the 57th and three minutes later Vera Rico finished with another goal on her count. With this, Vera Rico has scored nine times for Villarreal B.

Thanks to this win, now Villarreal B has five points over relegation. From the low table, only Valencia C (draw) and Murcia Féminas (win) got anything, so Villarreal B is getting closer to the safe zone. Next match will be in three weeks against Mislata CF, 5th at the table.
And to complete the hat-trick of wins by senior femenino sides, Villarreal C got a win too. Vera Rico (yes, the same one who scored with Villarreal B) opened the scoreboard with half hour played. But again a handicap for Villarreal C as Laura Bort got a straight red card one minute after the goal. At the second half, Villarreal C got another one, in this case Silvia Tomas for her fourth goal of the season. Sandra Orts scored a goal for Fenix Moncada with eight minutes left on the clock. In the end, Villarreal C won 1-2 the match.

La Eliana won their match too (5-0) and thanks to their 3-0 win against Torre Levante at the postponed match, they are now leading. Next match in two weeks where Villarreal C will host them in a crucial match, as only the group winner will gain promotion to Autonómica
Talking of cantera, Villarreal cadete-infantil won 3-0 against San Lorenzo in what would be said of a controlled match for them and continue with one point of advantage from CFF Marítim. Next match in two weeks against Castellón in what should be an easy match

And to finish, the base team got a loopsided win by 11-1 against Biensa getting three points of advantage from them, who are currently sitting at second. They are the only team that have a match next week, visiting Fenix Moncada in what should be another win for them
