VUSA Podcast #21: Allen and Sid discuss the decade that was

When New Year 2010 rolled around, Villarreal were mid-table; less than a month later, coach Ernesto Valverde, appointed to replace the sainted Pellegrini, had been fired. That probably won’t happen to Javi Calleja this time, though we are (again) mid-table as the New Year (and new decade) rolls around.

Ten years ago, Villarreal USA existed as a WordPress blog, and Sidarth was one of the writers (I didn’t join until the fall of that year as a writer). I can’t say our memories were always perfect, but we enjoyed putting together a Villarreal XI of the decade, and also look ahead to an important second half of the season.
