Villarreal Feminína win again, B and C teams draw

Villarreal’s first-team Women’s side won again, this time at home over a tough Grenada team, 1-0. The only goal came from Naiara, in the 71st minute. The women are top of the table with four wins from four!

Villarreal B drew 0-0 at FC Andorra. That’s a good result given Andorra have gotten off to a good start this season, and their home ground in Encamp is about 4300 feet above sea level. The B team is even with Andorra and Lleida on 13 points after 6 matches at the top of the table.

Villarreal C drew 2-2 with Silla. After 6 games they have 14 points and are second in the table behind Alcoyano, who have won all their matches so far.

Next weekend:

Villarreal’s first team visit Pamplona to play Osasuna.

Villarreal Women are away to CD Pozoalbense (Pozoblanco is a small town in Andalusia, north of Cordoba).

Villarreal B host Ebro, who have 6 points so far and are 14th in the table.

Villarreal C are away to Alzira, currently 5th in the table.
