La Nucia 0-4 Villarreal

Villarreal defeated La Nucia 4-0; by all accounts the first half was dominated by Villarreal but we could not finish our chances, in the second half we played a team which might be close to our starting XI and scored four times.

Samu Chukwueze saw action for the first time this preseason after his time off after the Africa Cup of Nations, Zambo Anguissa played again, and there was a debut from Sofian Chakla at CB (we signed him from Melilla for the B team, surely). Jaume Costa and Santy Caseres did not travel, leading to increased speculation they may be on their way out. Highlights are here.
