Villarreal take on West Brom

Villarreal more-or-less host West Bromwich Albion today (10AM California time) in a first friendly of the season. The match is being played at La Nucia’s Camilo Cano ground.

West Brom have around 600-700 fans going to the match, according to reports; not all from England but certainly many are coming from Benidorm. Arrangements have been made to transport fans from Benidorm the few miles inland to the ground.

No word on any television, but I am assuming there is none. Should be on Radio Vila-real though. La Nucia just got promoted to the Segunda B to the first time and the town name derives from an Arabic word meaning “delicious”. That’s all I got.
