And Mallorca pick up a point to qualify for the playoffs.

All you need to really do is watch the clip above. If Cadiz fail to make the playoffs because of a 50-yard ricochet from a clearance in the center circle.....

Well, anyway. Cadiz lost 1-0 at home to Extremadura, Depor and Elche played to a 0-0 draw. Real Oviedo were down 3-1 at home to Rayo Majadahonda with 10 minutes to go, but won 4-3, with the last two goals coming from ex-Villarreal player Joselu (who has 11 goals now this season). This was a horrible loss for Rayo, as next week they get an automatic three points vs. Reus. If they had held on for a win, they would have forced Lugo to win next week to stay up; as it is, Rayo are relegated!!

Osasuna and Granada are already promoted, Malaga, Albacete and Mallorca are already in the playoffs (Malaga defeated Albacete today with Alfred N’Diaye scoring a goal). The race for the final playoff position looks like:

Depor 65, Cadiz 64, Oviedo 63.

Next week: Osasuna host Oviedo; Deportivo host Cordoba; Sporting Gijon host Cadiz.

Cordoba, Nastic Tarragona, Rayo Majadahonda, and Reus (team folded in midseason) are relegated.
