Our last match of the season. How to watch: supposedly it’s going to be televised by one of the beINSport channels (their #5). Fubo doesn’t have it in their listings but they do have that channel, so all I can suggest is check and see if the game actually is there.
There definitely is radio—Radio Vila-real, as always (click on “directo”), and also Xavi Rubert will be covering the match on a punt radio, which you can pick up here. If you are so inclined, you can watch Valladolid—Valencia on the regular BeiNSport channels and listen to Getafe—Villarreal on the radio. The mixture of languages and action will no doubt be quite something....
Levante picked up a point this morning so we are now in 15th. I see Rodri scored for Atleti—could that be his last match for them? Certainly the end of an era with Godin, Juanfran and Griezmann moving on.
Villarreal have announced their lineup, and it is: Andrés; Quintillá, Alvaro, Funes Mori, Jaume Costa; Trigueros, Javi Fuego, Iborra, Pedraza; Dani Raba and Carlos Bacca.
Bench: Santy Caseres, Gerard, Fornals, Toko Ekambi, Santi Cazorla, Barbosa, Morlanes.
Clearly Calleja is using this match as a chance to give some playing time to a couple of folks who haven’t had much of late, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Getafe are going with David Soria; Bruno, Cabrera, Mata, Portillo, Arambari, Molina, Maksimovic, Damian Suarez, Foulquier and Hugo Duro.
Bench: Chichizola, Angel, Gaku, Samu Saiz, Christoforo, Flamini, I. Miquel.
ENDAVANT!!
With Javi Fuego and Dani Raba both being rusty (Raba has played 96 league minutes all season, Javi Fuego hasn’t started since early January and has only 250 league minutes) it’s time for a fun poll....
