Santi Cazorla turns 35!!

He’s busy getting ready for the Sevilla match.

Santi and Pau, then and now

Santi Cazorla turned 35 today. He got something of an honor guard at practice (and I suspect, some “old man” ragging as well). Santi will be ready for Sunday in Sevilla, it seems clear.

Pau Torres tweeted the photo montage I used for this brief note—a very young Santi (I’m guessing about 22?) and a young Pau (who is now 22 himself).

Santi has some nice things to say about Arsenal and Arsene Wenger, here.

Speaking of interviews in English, if you haven’t read this interview with our former player Rodri, I highly recommend it.

Villarreal C were in action in midweek and disposed of Paterna, 3-1, in a game with red cards on both sides. Javier Comeras, Josema, and Fer Niño scored our goals. Villarreal C are now second in the table on 32 points, eight behind leaders Alcoyano. Next up is a tricky away match at Novelda, currently 7th.
