Spain have released their 23--player squad that’s being readied for the upcoming international matches against Malta (November 15, in Cadiz) and Romania (November 18 at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid). It is exactly the same last time as far as Villarreal is concerned, with Pau Torres, Raul Albiol, Santi Cazorla and Gerard Moreno all included.
José Luis Gayà (Valencia) makes the squad this time, and so too does young Dani Olmo, a Spanish youth international who is at Dinamo Zagreb. He came up in the Espanyol and Barcelona academies, but moved to Zagreb at age 16. There was some talk about Croatia giving him citizenship so he could play for their senior side, but if he appears in one of these matches, that’s done.
