Villarreal weekend roundup

A nice win for Villarreal B as reported earlier, but Villarreal C continue to struggle. Orihuela defeated them 1-0, so we have only four points from five matches. Next up, a home match against top-of-the-table La Nucia on Saturday.

The Villarreal Ladies drew 2-2 at Lorca, so now they are one of four teams sharing the lead on seven points. They host Maritím on Saturday.

And news of Villarreal loanees: Ruben Semedo played for Huesca, did pretty well by all accounts in their loss to Real Sociedad; Enes Unal and Leo Suarez both scored for Valladolid in their 3-3 draw at Celta.

Alfred N’Diaye played the whole match as Malaga lost to Las Palmas 1-0, their first loss of the season. Torino were fairly comprehensively outplayed by Napoli, losing 3-1 at home; Roberto Soriano got on for the last half-hour.
