It is being reported that an agreement has been reached between Villarreal and AC Milan for the transfer of Samu Castillejo. The deal involves the transfer of Carlos Bacca; Villarreal will give him the same contract terms as he currently has with Milan in terms of salary, and he becomes a member of the Submarine.
Milan will pay us €3-4m as a loan fee this year for Castillejo, with a mandatory purchase option. An €18m figure was mooted but I believe that includes the loan fee in it, though this is not totally clear.
News was broken by Eurosport and Gianluca Di Marzio within the last quarter-hour; Di Marzio is usually pretty accurate about this stuff when he says something has actually happened.
