Spain’s under-19 side were in action today, in qualifying play for the European Championship for this age group. Villarreal B’s Manu Morlanes featured as a starting central midfielder and played the entire match.
Unfortunately, Spain were only able to garner a 0-0 draw against Bulgaria; the other teams in the group are France and Belgium. Spain will play Belgium March 24 and France on March 27; only the top-placed team moves on.
