Villarreal broke their losing streak with a 1-0 victory over Getafe, the only goal of the match coming from Enes Unal in the 3rd minute. The Submarine survived not one but two penalty awards, the first against Javi Fuego, the second against Jaume Costa, but in both instances Sergio Asenjo saved the spot kicks.
