Can you imagine having played 42 matches and now needing to play four more for promotion?

The Segunda playoffs are set:

Huesca host Getafe in the first leg of their playoff; Cadiz host Tenerife in the first leg of theirs. These matches are Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, with the return leg three days later.

Then those two winners meet for the final promotion place, joining Levante and Girona as the promoted clubs this year.

The teams relegated from the Segunda are UCAM Murcia, Mallorca, Elche, and Mirandés.

The teams taking those places are Cultural Leonesa (first time in the Segunda since 1975) and Lorca FC, who have never played there, and the other two places are being contested still. Barcelona B, Albacete, Racing Santander, and Valencia B will play off for those spots.
