The travelling party for tomorrow’s match in Las Palmas has been announced.
- Keepers: Andrés Fernández, Barbosa.
- Defenders: Mario, Rukavina, Jaume Costa, Álvaro, Musacchio, Víctor Ruiz.
- Midfielders: Bruno, Rodrigo, Trigueros, Jonathan dos Santos, Roberto Soriano, Samu Castillejo, Leo Suárez (dorsal 49).
- Strikers: Santos Borré, Bakambu, Sansone, Mario González (dorsal 39).
Denis Cheryshev now has a “septal fibrosis” which is going to keep him out of action 5-8 WEEKS—he might make it back for our last match or tow of the season, but I doubt it.
Roberto Soldado has a muscle problem, too—hopefully less serious, it’s described as a left adductor muscle ‘overload’ but it’s enough to keep him out of action. Of course, after this match he has an extra week to recover, as next week is an international break.
And the reason for 19 players rather than 18? Cedric Bakambu is doubtful—he’s got a muscle problem as well apparently.
Jose Angel and Bonera are apparently fit but dropped.
