Villarreal B to defend Premier League International U-21 Cup title

Villarreal B will be defending their Premier League Cup U21 title next week against Manchester United

The Mini Submarine will be participating in the Premier League International Cup U-21 for the third consecutive time after obtaining the title last year when they defeated PSV 4-2 in the final.

Villarreal B are in Group B where they will facing the likes of Manchester United, Middlesborough, and Sparta Prague.

Paco López and the squad will be travelling this upcoming Monday to Leigh, Greater Manchester.

The schedule for Villarreal B in the U21 Premier League International Cup is as follows:

  • Tuesday 13th September: Manchester United U21-Villarreal U21 (8pm, Leigh Sports Village).
  • Tuesday 11th October: Middlesbrough U21-Villarreal U21 (8pm, Middlesbrough Venue TBC).

Tuesday 13th December: Villarreal U21-Sparta Prague (8pm, Neutral Venue TBC).
