Today’s rumor mill stars Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano. Also, Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has been linked with a move to the Yellow Submarine.

First things first. According to Italian sports journal La Gazzetta dello Sport, and several other Italian outlets, Villarreal are said to be willing to activate Roberto Soriano’s buy-out clause, which is around 15 million.

Deportivo and Napoli are said to be after the midfielder as well, as the Neapolitans have tried to snap him up several times in the past. Now, they would not have any trouble after selling Gonzalo Higuaín to Juventus. The aforementioned transfer has become the most expensive for any player in the Serie A

According to DiMarzio, Sampdoria are already lining up a move for Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet as a replacement for Soriano.

As for Adnan Januzaj, several English outlets claim that the Belgian-Albanian winger is one of many other players that will be sent out on loan. In addition to that, Januzaj has not been selected in Manchester United’s preseason tour, which further fuels speculations of an imminent exit for the talented winger.

Marca claims that Villarreal are interested in acquiring the services of Januzaj. That would be an interesting option for the Yellow Submarine as we’ve had successful former United players such as Forlán and Giuseppe Rossi, who found their best form at El Madrigal.
