Over 16,500 season ticket holders for Villarreal so far

Villarreal may be a small town, but the population is certainly behind the Yellow Submarine.  Not all of the season ticket holders are from the town proper, of course, but most are from the province of Castellón.

The season ticket campaign is still open, but already Villarreal has 16,535 subscribers.  Javier Tebas wants to see fewer empty seats in la Liga grounds--that should not be a huge problem in El Madrigal if the season ticket holders attend on a regular basis (and the club has again given them incentives to do so).
