The Yellow Submarine has been invited by Club Deportivo Badajoz to participate in the Trofeo Ibérico on July alongside Extremadura and Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.
The Trofeo Ibérico was one the most prestigious friendly summer tournaments in Spain, hosted by local team, CD Badajoz. The tournament has been defunct since 1986, then in 2005, it was played again to commemorate the 100th anniversary of CD Badajoz, and now, the Extremaduran outfit has decide to bring the tournament once again.
Villarreal and Sporting Lisbon will face off on July 26 at the Estadio Nuevo Vivero in Badajoz, providence of Extremadura.
