As the speculation of Denis Suárez to Barcelona is further increasing with each day, Villarreal are already looking for a replacement for the talented Galician winger. Marca claims that one of the options to reinforce the wing alongside Cheryshev, is the Paraguayan winger Miguel Almirón of Club Lanús, that recently won the championship in Argentina. Miguel Almirón is dubbed the Paraguayan Di María for his remarkable talent, and scored a goal in the final against San Lorenzo de Almagro, while also being one of the pillars for Lanús. Villarreal have been scouting him for months now.

It is understood that Marcelino wants an already established and experienced player in La Liga, to strengthen the wings such as Cheryshev, but Almirón is a player that appeals to the interest of the club. After, Villarreal have successfully scouted and signed Latin American players from the Argentina Primera such as Arruabarrena, Gonzalo, Musacchio, Vietto, etc...

Speaking of Cheryshev, El Periódico Mediterráneo suggests that Denis would like to return to Villarreal and play the Champions League despite Valencia's interest. Cheryshev was required to have surgery for an injury sustained and therefore misses going the Euro with Russia.

Cheryshev's return to Villarreal is slightly complicated to say the least. Madrid refused to loan him to us after their rather laughable debacle in the Copa del Rey against Cádiz, when they lined up Denis despite it being obvious that he was suspended. Never change, Florentino!.

A week ago, Nahuel was linked with a move to Sporting Gijón by the Asturian press. Well, now it's Rodri who's been linked to the Sportinguistas according to the Asturian press. Rodri Hernández has piqued Sporting's manager Abelardo's interest. Sporting are looking for a proper replacement for Sergio Álvarez to strengthen their midfield. With Villarreal B failing to get promoted to the Liga Adelante, the club is looking for a much more competitive challenge for Rodri, and Sporting would be an ideal scenario for Rodri to get playing time in the top flight.
