Villarreal players have a month plus of vacation: report back July 6

Villarreal players had their last training session before departing for a summer break; players report back to the club July 6 for medical and physical testing, with training resuming July 11.

Of course, the big question is, how many of these players who departed today will be back?  We already know Leo Baptistao won't be back, neither will Daniele Bonera, while Alphonse Areola's loan is over and Barcelona can buy back Denis Suarez for €3.5m.  Nahuel is rumored to be headed to Sporting Gijón on loan,  and Samu Garcia may go back to Malaga.  And that's quite apart from the rumors of interest in players like Bailly, Bukambu and Musacchio.

So, a busy month ahead for the front-office of Villarreal, even if most of the players can take it easy.
