Villarreal are feeling reasonably OK about things after their midweek win in the Europa League, and now it is time to face Getafe in El Madrigal. The opposition club is struggling, without a win in 11 matches. Last in goals scored, and fifth from bottom in defense, Getafe's future in the Primera is in doubt.
The Yellow Submarine have the following squad for the match:
- Porteros: Asenjo and Areola.
- Defensas: Mario, Rukavina, Víctor Ruiz, Eric Bailly and Adrián Marín.
- Centrocampistas: Pina, Bruno, Trigueros, Denis Suárez, Castillejo, Samu García and Jonathan dos Santos.
- Delanteros: Soldado, Bakambu, Leo Baptistao and Adrián López.
Expect Adrian Marin at left back in Jaume Costa's absence, and while Jonathan dos Santos and Samu Garcia are both back in the squad, don't expect them to necessarily see action tomorrow.
This is a match where Villarreal need to get on top early--Getafe has been behind at the half in each of their last 10 matches--and if they can get up by a couple of goals, it will be difficult for Getafe to come back, as they have only scored in two of their last 10 (each time, a single goal).
Prediction: Villarreal 3-1 Getafe.
