New rumor: Valère Germain to Villarreal?

We've done well with Bakambu; what about another striker from Ligue Un?

L'Equipe reports Villarreal are pursuing Valère Germain, a striker owned by Monaco who currently plays on loan with Nice.  Nice does have an option to buy with that current loan, so evidently the deal would be they would exercise the option and then we'd pay them.  5-6 million euros is the figure kicked around in the rumors.

Germain is aged 25; he scored 14 goals in 2012-13 for Monaco when they were in the second division, helping them gain promotion.  He had only nine goals total in the next two seasons, but has flourished at Nice, with 10 goals so far and five assists.

Of course what you guys really want to know is what are his attributes in FIFA 16, right?  Here they are.

He seems comparable to Andy Delort at Caen, a fellow with 10 goals to his name there.   I'm not sure how he compares to our existing strikers, since I haven't seen him play, but it's no surprise that after Bakambu's success,  Villarreal is looking to France.  The French league is suffering from the dominance of Paris Saint-Germain and doesn't have the international pull of La Liga, so is a place to look for comparative bargains.

Here is a nice goal of his, strong finishing but also intelligent run across the defender to receive the cross:
