It has not been a great start for Villarreal's second team. We're 13th on the table with 15 points, and our last five matches have had scores of 1-1, 1-0, 0-0, 0-1, and 0-0. Our last home match was a disappointing loss to Espanyol B, 1-0.
Saguntino are struggling too. They are just above us in the table with 16 points, and their last two matches (both at home) have been 0-0 draws.
Players missing: Villarreal's Edgar Ié missed the last match because of yellow card accumulation, and now he's on international duty for Portugal's U-21 squad (played 90 minutes today as they defeated the Czech Republic 3-1). Saguntino will be missing a defender, Oscar Lopez, who picked up his fifth yellow last week, and also Carlos Esteve, who picked up his fifty yellow as well. That's a loss for them because Esteve (who you may remember played for Villarreal B back in 2013-14) has six of Sagunt's 14 goals.
That aside, Villarreal B have scored 13 and allowed 13 in 13 matches, Sagunt have scored 14 and allowed 13 in 13 matches. Sounds like a 1-1 draw is on the cards, doesn't it? So, something else will probably happen....you can watch via stream on the official site (and it stays up on youtube for a bit afterward, if you want to catch a replay broadcast)
Endavant Minisubmarino!!
