Aleix Garcia’s transfer could bring decent €’s

Aleix Garcia continues to impress at Manchester City, and word is he could well bring Villarreal some extra cash in the years ahead. When he signed with Manchester City in August 2015, his contract included a provision that Villarreal would get €1m for every ten first-team matches Aleix plays (when he plays over 30 minutes).

So far he has done that twice, I believe—the Club Intercontinental Cup presumably doesn’t count. Aleix made his Premier League debut in September as a sub, and then played 90 minutes and scored against Swansea in the League Cup.
