Villarreal will play Toledo in the Copa del Rey

Villarreal have been drawn against CD Toledo in the Copa del Rey.  The first leg will be at their ground, the "Salto de Caballo".  Villarreal last played there in April 2000, when we were fighting to get back to the Primera after one season.  We took 3000 fans to the Segunda match, and Villareal won 3-1 with goals from Jorge López (2) and Parri.

Fast forward to 2016...Toledo were relegated from the Segunda in 2000, and haven't made it back since, splitting their time between the Segunda B and Tercera.  They finished fourth in their Segunda B group last season, made it through the first playoff round but then went out to Hércules.

So far this season they are doing well, leading their group with 16 points from 8 matches.

First leg November 29 in Toledo, second leg December 20 in Vila-real.  The full draw:
