Moi Gómez to join Getafe according to reports

The speculation regarding Moi Gómez leaving Villarreal for next season might be coming to a near conclusion as sources claim Moi will be playing for Getafe next season.

According to both Marca and AS, Moi was seen at Getafe's training ground in Segovia at the orders of former Elche coach, Fran Escribá.

It was a possibility that the club was contemplating sending Moi on loan as he did not count with enough minutes in the second half of the season due to the arrival of Joel Campbell, among other factors.

In case of materializing, it would be a good chance for Moi to prove his worth and earn the minutes he could not earn with Villarreal last season. Fran Escribá is a more than capable coach. He's known to get the best out of his players.

At this point the club is waiting to make it official. Nothing official just yet, although it could be a done deal tomorrow morning.
