Spanish league will start one week later than originally planned

Yes, folks, this is Spain. Never mind printing a schedule with match days and times for the entire season, we can't even agree on when the season will start!!

The fans. Do the Spanish league authorites ever think about them? It doesn't seem so.

Yet again, Spanish football authorities have a lot of egg on their faces.  After first proposing that the Spanish football season should begin the weekend of August 15 and 16 (and, therefore, clubs planned their preseason on this basis),  it's now been decided the season will start one week later, on August 22-23.

Needless to say, we have no fixture lists, and even if we did they'd probably require some jiggling because of this change.  It is unbelievable that every other major European league can publish dates and times of the entire season, but in Spain, we can't even agree when the season starts, much less details of when the team you support will actually play!!
