Villarreal players trained today in Adelaide's Cooper Stadium ahead of tomorrow's match with Adelaide United. It takes place at noon Spanish time, which is 3AM on the US west coast, so I don't expect to be watching it. It's part of the LFP World Challenge, and one of two friendlies the Submarine will play in Australia.
Meanwhile, Radio Vila-Real tweets that negotiations are advanced for Andres Fernandez:
El portero Andrés Fernández podría ser el primer fichaje del @VillarrealCF . Las negociaciones parece que están bastante avanzadas.

Tigres' president says no deal yet for Uche, though Mexican reports are he's already passed a physical/ EPM
Jackson Martinez mentioned as possible Atleti choice instead of Vietto if Villarreal won't negotiate/Football Espana
Borja Baston, interesting Getafe, Villarreal, Betis/ Inside Spanish Football
Note that Bastón, currently on loan at Zaragoza, belongs to Atleti, so presumably we're not going to get him if we refuse to negotiate on Vietto.
