Villarreal-Malaga GAMETHREAD

The Villarreal lineup is out.  Mario gets a well-deserved rest, and the Jaume Costa at left wing experiment continues.

Our lineup is:

J.Carlos; Rukavina, Dorado, Ruiz, Jokic; Bruno, Trigueros, Campbell, J.Costa; Vietto y Giovani.

I think giving Gerard a rest is good, he's been off of late and has played a lot.  Super Mario has been a workhorse this season, with almost 500 more minutes played than the next outfield player.   Rest too for Jona and Eric Bailly, both banged up last time but available off the bench.  I think we may need Jona's passing off the wing, but we have Moi available to come in as well.

As for the back four,  it's a chance for Jokic to get more playing time after injury, for the centerback pairing to audition for next season, and for Rukavina to show why we signed him.   He's played okay at times, been completely anonymous at times.

Malaga: Kameni; Rosales, S.Sanchez, Weligton, Boka; Camacho, Darder; Samuel, Juanmi, Amrabat; Javi Guerra. They're playing in their light blue.
