Injuries just keep on coming for Villarreal

No firm word on Ike Uche, but it seems unlikely he'll play this weekend; Giovani dos Santos has already been ruled out for a month, and Denis Cheryshev for several weeks as well.  (Uche did tweet that he was "hoping to get ready as soon as possible!", it's a knee that's bothering him).

Centerback is also a worry because Musacchio is already out, Eric Bailly got a fifth yellow card against Cordoba (it's being appealed, but Javi Mata says the appeal has apparently been rejected), and Chechu Dorado is recovering from an injury also.  Yes, in theory we could call someone up from the B team--but one of the regular centerbacks, Tano, can't be returned to the B team if he's called up at this point (because of age, I guess?)

This is when israel Puerto would certainly have gotten a callup, but of course he left us for Lugo in January, upset because he wasn't called up when Musacchio was injured earlier.

And to add to our concerns, Luciano Vietto left practice early to work on exercises for his back problem.   Could be an easy XI to pick for Marce--whoever can stand up and play!

Meanwhile, Sergio Asenjo tweeted a photo of his dog, ready to go with him to practice.....maybe that's our answer...
