Villarreal and the Premios Golsmedia 2015

The Premios Golmedia are a series of annually awards given by regional Valencia digital sports daily Golsmedia, which specializes in the academy base football around the Valencian community. Awards are chosen via online voting by internet users. Golsmedia gives awards for the season best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker, as well as for the best player from each division, and best coach. You have different players nominated from the Segunda División B, Tercera División, Preferente y División de Honor Juvenil, divisions.

Among the club members that have been nominated from Villarreal B playing in Segunda División B (Group 3) are Sergio Marcos who received two nominations as Best Midfielder and Best Player of the division, and Paco López as best coach.

Meanwhile, the Juvenil A has been the received the most nominations with four players from the División de Honor Juvenil (Group 6). The aforementioned players are Joan Femenías (Best goalkeeper), Miguel Llambrich (Best defender), Iván Orts (Best midfielder), and Alfonso Pedraza (Best player of the league).

The ceremony for the awards will be held at L'Alcúdia on May 4th, where we'll find out if our young submarines are awarded with any of the 7 decorations given, among other 126 candidates.
