Asenjo gets medical clearance; Mateo returns; Mario probably out a month

Word from the infirmary: Sergio Asenjo has been cleared to train with the team.  He was one of three finalists for the 'keeper of the year' award which the league presented yesterday (Claudio Bravo won it).   Fortunately there is no need to rush him back with the fine work of Areola and Barbosa.

Mateo Musacchio is widely expected to be included in the list of players to face Huesca on Thursday in the first leg of our Copa del Rey matchup--he's been out since April 12th.

However, good news doesn't travel alone, it seems--Mario Gaspar is probably out for a month after injuring his leg on Sunday.  That probably means he won't be back for the Valencia match New Year's Eve, though possibly for the January 3 Depor match.  So Antonio Rukavina will see a good deal of time over the next month, I'd expect.
