Villarreal will travel to Belarus without Eric Bailly. The Cote d'Ivoire international centerback injured hos left leg late on in the Sevilla match and is being rested. Bailly is suspended (as is Roberto Soldado) for our visit to the Camp Nou on the weekend, so his next action, hopefully, will be against Eibar on November 22 (since we have yet ANOTHER international break after Barca).
There seems to be some thought that Marce will experiment with someone at second striker in the Minsk match who could then fill the same role on Sunday in Barca--whether that's Samu Garcia, Denis Suarez, or Nahuel, who knows. I'd probably rank them in that order myself.
Since Soldado is suspended for Barca, I would expect him to be the other striker here, with Bakambu available to sub in later if need be. A back four of Rukavina, Bonera, Ruiz and Jokic, perhaps? We definitely need to win this match, but we also need to rotate ahead of Sunday.
