Leo Baptistao now out until Christmas

Injured in training today--he was hoping to return for the Eibar match.

Leo Baptistao had an impressive preseason, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy--which has been the story throughout his career.  He broke down today in training and is now out until probably January.  With Adrian also out for a lengthy spell, our four-striker rotation is down to two--Bakambu and Soldado.

So what now?  Marcelino could use Denis Suarez and/or Samu Garcia as a backup striker.  Interestingly EPM floats not only the idea that someone could be called up from the B team (Leo Suarez or Franco Acosta) but also that, even though Sr. Roig Negueroles said earlier we would only be looking to make moves in January if someone left, there is a possibility he will "put his hand on some form of loan if it doesn't affect the economics of the team too much".
