Villarreal take the fight to local rivals Levante

We know Super Mario will start.
We know Super Mario will start.
Maria José Segovia

With the season well on the way, Villarreal are flying top of the table for the first time ever.

On the back of a 1-0 victory in Europe, Villarreal will be looking to take 3 points in Sunday's clash.

Levante have been consistent in the table since coming up in 2010, almost always finishing in lower mid table but as Allen pointed out, a consistent threat.

Villarreal fans will be extremely excited for this considering our form.  On a personal note Levante's stadium is amazing if you ever get to visit.   It always reminds me of a Roman chariot stadium (you can read about Levante's history, and more about their stadium, here).

Congratulations are in order for Bruno making the squad, although I hope they never use him against England.

Villarreal squad

We know Denis Suarez is out, so too Bakambu and Adrian.  Question is how many of the players who started against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday will be ready to play another 90 minutes.

Prediction:
My prediction is 3-1 Villarreal which probably means 1-0 the way my predictions go

(Allen predicts 2-1 to Villarreal)
