Welcome to our new contributor!!

The sharper-eyed among you (in other words, those who see better than the average La Liga ref) may have noticed a new contributor of late--Robin 1810, a/k/a Robin Stacey, or "the other Robin", in deference to Villarreal's #1 supporter Robin Harris (orient1), a frequent commenter and friend of all of us on here.

Robin says the following about himself:  "My name is Robin Stacey, I am from York in England.  I am a broadcast journalist. I started supporting Villarreal as my first team the season that we were relegated and before that I was a very strong admirer.  I spent last year working in Valencia, where I wrote several articles for the English site of Villarreal.   I went to nearly every home game and training last season. I have met all the hierarchy and the likes of Marcus Senna and Robert Pires. I play football myself for a Sunday league team, I am a holding midfielder".

I would add to that he was able to catch our preseason matches in the UK the last couple of years and the two Robins were able to meet up at least once in person, as I recall.

Robin will be doing previews for us frequently and also whatever else we can work him into--he also enjoys playing FIFA 14 (soon 15) so will be keeping us posted on how our players are rated there.    And when we can figure out how to get all of us awake and coherent at the same time, he'll be appearing on our podcasts as well.
