Villarreal CF's tourism promotion campaign

The Valencian Community's regional government doesn't have the money to promote tourism in the Castellon region, so Villarreal is stepping into the breach.

Villarreal's new "EndaVant Provincía" campaign, which aims to promote the area around Vila-real. With the lack of Valencian TV/radio outlets, tourism promotion sufffers too, and Villarreal is producing some nifty little TV spots about various places in the region.  The latest features La Vall d'Uixó.

This spot was shown at halftime of the match against Real Sociedad.  In addition to that, a restaurant from the town catered food, a town band played before the match, and over 2000 people from La Vall attended the match.  If you saw the match on TV, you may have noticed the atmosphere in El Madrigal was really great, and a lot of it was due to the Colectivo Aldeano in one corner of the ground, and the La Vall d'Uixó folks at the other.  Lots of drums, flags, and more penya signs than usual at the end we were attacking in the second half.
