Villarreal takes on Granada CF today in Murcia -- yet another Primera preview. The Andalusians have made some interesting off-season acquisitions, but we have a score to settle. Remember the scenes in Vallecas in May 2012?

The preseason has been a mixed bag so far: wins over third-division Nàstic and Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion. Losses to second-division Hércules and Primera rival Almería. Now another mid-table challenger awaits at La Manga in Murcia.

Starting XI confirmed: Asenjo; Mario, Musacchio, Íñiguez, Jokic; Bruno, Trigueros; Cani, Hernán; Uche, Perbet.

Juan Carlos is hurt, so Sergio Asenjo is the logical replacement. Aside from the omissions of Javier Aquino and Jaume Costa, this might be our best XI as of May 2013. Now Giovani dos Santos and Tomás Pina are pushing for a place -- competition is healthy.

The match begins at 1 pm Eastern Time and airs on Canal 9. Look for streams and Radio Vila-real. Endavant Villarreal!
