Apologies for service not being as extensive as usual, but Sid and Ravi are both out of the country and my computer has picked this time to become unreliable. Anyway, just a quick recap of where we are....

Carlos Marchena has taken his smirk and his salary to Depor; Javier Camuñas seems to be interesting Rayo and Osasuna among others, and Zapata is either moving to Milan permanently or to Wigan for a year, take your pick.

As if we didn't have few enough attacking players to start with, Hernán Perez has been called up to the Paraguay national side for a friendly against Guatemala at JFK Stadium on August 15. It's doubtful he will be back in time to play our opening match against Real Madrid Castilla, therefore.

Santi Cazorla is now officially an Arsenal player; an Arsenal fans' blog, The Marble Halls, asked me to answer some questions about Santi. If you'd like to see what I wrote, as well as see how excited Arsenal fans are to have him, take a look!
