Bille to Rayo as Villarreal begin their preseason

Not that we shouldn't expect more exits, but Villarreal began its preseason preparations today with 23 players. These include Moi Gomez, Joan Truyols and Manu Trigueros, who played with the B team last year, as well as Jorge Palatsi, the second keeper in Diego Marino's absence (he is part of the Spanish Olympic team):

Not included were Uche and Zapata,on international duty, Jonathan deGuzman, who looks likely to go to Swansea on some terms or another, and of course the recovering Giuseppe Rossi. Cani, Camuñas, Borja Valero, Nilmar, etc. were all there, but we expect transfer movement involving some of these players before long.

Kiko Olivas and Lucas Porcar (as well as Gerard Bordas) apparently start the season with the B team, then.Here is the new coach of the B team talking about the season to come:

Meanwhile, Jens the Dane will be saddened by the news that Nicki Bille is being loaned to Rayo, with an option to purchase him for €1m. Taking a loss if that happens, methinks.
