Thread: Bayern Munich vs. Villarreal

Cool photo.

Villarreal is currently in scintillating form, based on recent results. 2 wins in 3 matches; only 2 in our previous 19(!) in all competitions. Breathtaking stuff. And we had not kept 3 straight clean sheets in 19 months.

Today the Yellow Submarine visits Bayern Munich and the site of this season's UEFA Champions League final. Welcome to the big club, Pablo Iñiguez.

Manager Juan Carlos Garrido's squad, as originally announced:

Keepers: D. López, César, Mariño.
Defenders: Mario, Ángel, Marchena, Musacchio, Catalá, Oriol.
Midfielders: Senna, de Guzmán, Wakaso, Gullón, Borja, Bruno, Pérez, Pablo Iñiguez.
Strikers: Ruben, Joselu.

10 players from the B team and below. AS expects 6 canteranos to start at the Allianz Arena. Impressive, in a way. The lineup will remain uncertain until the last minute, as a number of regulars are carrying knocks.

The match begins at 2:45 pm Eastern Time and will air on GolT (Spain). Expect plenty of streams. Nothing to lose, so let's go for it. Endavant Villarreal!
