Godin Out

Bad, bad news. The defensive line has taken another hit, this time at the hands of the Fifa virus. Diego Godin left in the 80th minute of Uruguay's win yesterday over Paraguay. I do not know what the injury is at the moment; apparently it is not serious enough to definitely keep him out from Wednesday's match against Chile. We will have to wait for updates on his condition to see whether he is going to be ready for the weekend and next Tuesday's Champions League match. It looks certain that, even if he is recovered, Pellegrini will have to go with Fuentes and Gonzalo against Almeria, as Cygan remains injured.
